Perspex inner glazing - anyone tried???

Postby firewalker » Tue Apr 05, 2011 9:15 pm

To avoid the frustration of filmtinting the windows in my minibus I've come up with the idea of fixing black/transparent pespex panels to the inside to also act as a sort of dbl glazing.

Anyone tried this? Any pointers? Any suppliers - preferaby who'll also cut it - in the Teesside area?
and is it cheapish?

hehe, they are double glazed, but the tint is from a film - I put it on about 7 years ago, it's not that difficult :)

I had real dramas with tinting my last one!!! Seemed to take forever!!! The cutting process was a mare and the stuff kept splitting then wouldnt fit to the edges - either too short or overlapping. If there's an eeeeeeasy way please share....
