how do I get more power from a 90ps?

Postby funny_fanny » Sun Jan 29, 2012 11:38 pm

As in the title, I've never had a newer transit or turbo and am wondering how the vans with the same engines have different power output. Is it in the turbo, the ecu or something else? Can I just get it remapped or chipped or is there more to it?

Turbo, Injectors, Intercooler (75ps not got one), ECU Mapping, Fuel Pump (VP44's pn higher output models).
As long as your 90ps is mechanicly sound, then a remap should give a nice improvement to torque and speed without any increase in fuel consumption. Speak to Martyn (Vantuner)

Martynx (vantuner) will coax a lot more useable power from that engine, without the trouble and expense of changing parts :D
 Give him a call
