Black steel wheels

Postby Herts » Tue Feb 21, 2012 9:29 pm

As the title says, has anyone sprayed their steel wheels black or have a picture of what they might look like.

As I was thinking about doing mine, don't want to look like a Kn8b though.

Way back before satnavs and digital money we used to go for black wheels finished off with Chrome wheel nut covers and what was called beauty rings. See photo here of what I mean...... http://www.eisparts.com/EIS-3504.html I was hoping to do this as a cheap upgrade for the great white whale since there are no wheels available for 6-stud fitment. The snag is no one is selling chrome wheel nut covers that fit the nuts (24mm). :(
