if your looking for economy why not go the lpg route
these kits can be picked up cheaply ,essex v6s love lpg
mine used to start straight off gas never put any petrol in
a good electronic ignition and unleaded heads should see it reliable
after all diesel is now more expensive than petrol .lpg averages around 70/80p litre
depending where you live
not as hard to fit as the experts make out
(after all they want to relieve you of over a grand to supply & fit it)
mine cost for my mk2 £80 for kit off cherokee and £4.50 for the adaptor for the webber twin choke
£35.00 for test and certificate .few bits of simple wiring
job done
worth looking into
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!
