I am using stainless steel box secton and welding a plate on both ends to make the flange. i think about 2-3 inches should be enough :? :?

As for the fuel system iv orderd a low pressure 120 l/min pump to feed a swirl pot (orderd) to feed an Orion EFI pump. for the return i will use the breather int eh tank and run a drill throuh the cap on the tank :D :D

is it a plastic tank you using?? if not, just cut the tank open weld in a circle of metal and use a Granada pump from the top of the tank :D

I arc everything exept stainless and ally.

I always prefer arc to weld structural bits. I happen to know that one of my welds was tested and held 25 tonns on an inch :P
