Some insurance companies like mine don't mind modifications as long as their nothing to do with the engine................ But and a big BUT they do not cover any of the modifications if something happens i.e your van gets stolen you will only get paid out for the same basic van even if you have spent 20k modifying it.

Hi, can i ask who your i8nsurance company is? I'm having trouble finding one as I'm about to modify my van.

does the nasc still run their insurance scheme
you should be affiliated if your a nsva or uk street vans ,member
i was with them few yrs ago £230 fully comp on v8 bedford cf van
worth lookin into
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!

Adrian Flux...happy with mods and cheaper than Gladiator who wouldnt even insure with a single rear seat fitted. :shock:

hi
I got a quote from aviva yesterday, we ready to take out policy and mentioned I sometimes carry motorcycles in the back and they said they wouldn't cover me for that, even got the broker to double check. I'm not carrying the motorcycles for reward either.
