... Go about fixing a spot light bar to the roof of a van.

I was thinking of welding bolts on the bar and bolting it through the roof using somting to seal the hole.

any other ideas. van is a lo roof :roll:

How about these from ebay, there for a landrover defender just to get an idea

They seem to attach to the rain gutters and hang forwards with tabs welded on for the spotlights

Save drilling holes in the roof and any potential leaks

I was thinking of making some myself but its too bloody cold to be welding outside for me :lol: :lol: :lol:

I am thinking of boltiong it then welding braces onto it and welding them onto the roof :D

The brackets that held the light bar to the roof are still there, it's the light bar it's self that broke Fred!

To be honest I wont be fitting them on another van, they are a pain in the ar$e and make loads of noise when ever you go over about 40 also don't help much with the fuel economy.

what about sunvisors are they noisey and do they cause much drag :?:
