my brothers just brought a v reg mk5 swb transit van & wants 2 tart it up abit.

where can u buy/find the wheel stud conversion kit from?????

anyone got 1 for sale????????

any info would be great

yer looks abit 2 technical 4 me mate, rather just buy the conversion kit that bolts straight on. (lazy)

Problem is they space the wheels out so if the man from vosa pulls it it will fail :roll:

mine will fail the MOT because the wheels are wider than the arches :roll:

yer but with the right offset wheels u might be able 2 get away with it.

also how do u go about lowering a transit??? anywhere sell springs?

seen a few transits lowered, dont want it sily low but alittle might be nice (depending how it sits on 17's)

I doubt you will be able to buy wheel adaptors off the shelf as Transit is the only thing with 160 pcd!

I,ve just realised i,m a tight Scot!! £200 ?? I,m after the same, as i want to fit some steel modulars on mine ( the kind you usually see on Landrover Defenders. Talking of lowering..i want to go the other way and get mine lifted.Have always had 4x4s, and have just bought a moulded bull bar from a Toyota Vigo twin cab which will look the dogs on the tranny..the only problem is that i,ll need to fit it on some kind of hinge so that i can open the bonnet!! Watch this space dudes :lol:

Now thats what i call a VAN !! Have spoken to LA supertrux who specialise in body/suspension lifts.Only problem is I use mine daily for courier work..so hardly the most practical ! unless i,m delivering to a farm ! I,ve only ever seen a cple of 4x4 trannies before
