dont like that, not enough to fill the arches :(

Needs higher profile tyres, And the wheels probably arnt rated to be fitted to a 300

that looks different being on a shr but i like it 8) 8) i know what guy means about the profile - when you look at the sportvans i think a higher profile wouldn't go a miss, just think it suits vans more :D

are there any weight limits on the sportvan wheels :? a 280 would only be an extra 50kg per wheel :D

Where would you get higher profile tyres for the sportvan alloys and have you got any examples? Gonna be ordering my alloys within the next few weeks for the mk7. Once i've earned more cash

245/50/18 should give you an extra 10mm side wall :D
245/55/18 should be an extra 24mm ish :D note thats on each side of the wheel :)

but can you get those sizes :?: and within the weigh limits :?:

totally understand what guy88 is saying the wheels not filling the arches enough to be honest and i know this sounds daft but when u see the van the tyres look alot chunkier ,although i would still maybe consider a tyre size bigger ,the guy got the alloys from ms design n b4 ordering the person checked what van it was going on for weight etc n they gave the go ahead so i would imagine they would be safe

went and seen a local tyre guy to ask about sizes and weigh limits he said i could get 245/50/18 or 235/55/18 on the sport alloys within the weight limits for my mwb :D a seen the 235/55/18 tyre looks quite chunky but not to much to take the look away from the alloy so should fill out the arches quite well :D heres a pic of a 18 inch alloy with 235/55/18 tyres nxt to the transit to give u an idea of the tyre size against the arches :D
