Wanna lower the back end of my van.
Plan is to get some rock hard single leafs to have de-cambered.
Want heavy rated ones so I can still put weight in it without problems.

So, question is ...
what spec van has hardest single leafs which will fit my mk5 SWB?

owens springs in Stockton should be able to make you some - I bought some extra leafs for my vans there after they were recommended on here :-)

if you drop them down to just one leave each, but then have a flat spring fitted under (aka a helper spring)

that way the extra spring won;t do much until you put some weight on it

seems to be mk4's that have the single leafs fitted the ones ive got for mine were off a 100 mk4

Or another one i saw years ago it was on a Dodge van owned by my neighbour was modified axle with some air bag system a bit like the hopping cars

Used to lower to the floor and rise when started :idea:

I really thought there'd be a great bit list of choices, knowing Ford and their Transit configuration options!

some campers have air bags works of a tyre valve on the left in side step well

i was gona fit ford carpi springs with air bags

The mother-in-laws volvo has a monroe shocker leveling system for towing caravans fitted, jacks up and down with a switch and meter on the dash. Meant to be a off the shelf kit! Replaces the original shockers, dont about the rest of it, Ive never looked at it properly
