modified van insurance

hi need some help with insurance, i have a ford transit 190 lwb hightop that has 3 extra seats in the back and 2 side windows fitted making it like a crew van. i was wondering who people use to insure modified vans as all the companies i have tried want like £3000 to insure it !

I would try Adrian Flux for yours just tell them its a crew van or a day van ..

They tend to be pretty good.

I`m not,,,, Yes mate.. gsxr750 ..guaranteed to lose your license Had 15points and still kept mine ffs Had to plead a special case in ludlow magistrates because i needed my license to work..only got 9 now.. And buggered the scoot off.

i run mine on my traders with gsi
they say they dont like modified or american or jap imports
but they know mines modified and ive had a lot of chevy day vans on it
even when a prat in a peugeot ran into bk of my chevy paid out no probs
down side is only third party fire & theft
not too bad @ £525 ive always got at least 2 cars on it at any time

Aviva and Adrian Flux came up well.Both around the £500 mark (extra if you pay in intallments)fully comp,protected.10,000 miles,personal injury ,standard excess etc.etc

That includes mods.Bullbar,lamps,sidebars,alloys,stainless exhaust and the Blufin.That`s £400 less that my current insurer

Ive changed from AFlux to A-Plan this year, 2 installments was free and I got a good deal

spoke to gsi bout my traders last week let it slip that i now have a pub
could be a prob wehen i need to renew in october but didnt make no difference to this years
for some reason they dont like traders working from licenced premises
premium first is good for modified they took over from roadsure on nasc insurance scheme
you have to be a nasc member & vehicle over 15 yrs old
not sure if their still on nasc or theve got new company it should be on their website
