I think most of these are one off creations, made by the owners themselves, normally other spoilers grafted on and adapted. I may be wrong, but nothing out the box for these vans.

Ok, I understand, but those who have made these creations might still have the mold to rebuild fiberglass .... or could suggest tips and materials or models used to be able to rebuild ... I would love to rebuild a bumper identical, but I would need to know the base from which we started to work. Possible that there is not collaboration between Teransit owners who wish to have their transit custom? Ciao.

Quite a few are made from car bumpers, seldom are from moulds, if your not far from some scrapyards then grab a tape measure and start looking ;)

Fibreglass and filler, plus alloy mesh will be your building blocks, eBay is your friend here.

Have a read of this thread, kind of sums it up.
What you want to create depends on budget, skills, and facilities.

Rob x car, Rover and my bumper are all using a Fibresport bumper made for the MK3, Rob just modified it a little to fit his MK5, I made my own changes, they haven't been made in years and the moulds where destroyed after a fire some years back.
The gold one comes from Malta, but when I looked in to bringing one or some in, it worked out really expensive to import... its been some years since then and possible not even making them anymore

So as said before, you have to get creative and make something 8)

I'm checking the fibersport site (is this link correct? http://www.fibresports.co.uk/home) but I haven't found anything for the TRANSIT Mk3.
Have you started from a TRANSIT Mk3 or from another model? If another model, which one?

I'll try to create a new tuning bumper moulds using fiber glass to produce several new bumpers, when ready you may be interested in.

Thanks guys.

Yes that's the right site, they don't make that front spoiler anymore, there was a fire there some years back. They still make a roof spoiler for the transit, but not which year and its to order only!!!

Seems as though Fibresports.co.uk still exists and are taking on the challenge of providing some bits for various makes and models.

Yes, they are still there, they make a few automotive parts, but that's only a small part of their business. I drive past them all the time, popped in there some years back and had a chat about the Transit moulds. Would cost a few thousand to make new moulds and they never sold that many when the vans where more current, so I don't think they will going down that route for the foreseeable future.
