The 2.9 v6 Cologne lump was only fitted with either a 4wd MT75 or an auto box, in the UK, i think....
So if you want a V6 in your transit, and want to use an MT75, you can bolt up a hybrid MT75 to it, but have the gear change in the wrong place, or find an adapter plate that will marry the V6 lump to the transit MT75......
The car vs Transit MT75s have different bolt patterns, the transit MT75 is much much bigger than the 'car' MT75....
