Just before the 40 limit, it has flowers on the road sign right now after the latest person got killed there, the father of the boy killed is trying to get the 40mph limit moved to include that turning....ain't gonna happen as the 40 limit is on the border of Southend's parish. I used to see a car in the ditch every sunday on the adverse camber bend a little further up on the A127, just past the A130 turn off drink had nothing to do with it...of course or going too fast
I have seen cars in the trees by this turn (40 limit) as well again obviously going too fast trying to do a nearly 180 degree turn.

yeah, been to the one near the 40 limit, only once ages ago when my girl friend had a corsa (crap car) and i wanted a wheel trim.

by coincidence- i was having dinner at one of the cafe's down the seafront yesterday, and the owner was telling me it was Kirby's that was in 'Just Friends'.

i was always amazed at some of the cars i found in scrap yards- ones where the owner had obviously fitted loads of new bits, got fed up and just scrapped it.

Nope it wasn't Kirby's as the Echo actually did a small feature on that breakers (40 limit) when it appeared on the show.

Made a slight error with the location...Daws Heath Road, the 40 limit is a different road..still only a few 100 yards in it.

I have had a few near misses there, but I tend to be in the outside lane at that point now for 2 reasons,
1. Because of prats just pulling out (Cars or bikes it makes no difference) Also the same in reverse happens with people turning left there as they forget to indicate well in advance
2. Because the inside lane on the lead up to the 40 limit is bumpy as hell, they did a couple of months ago flatten it a fair bit but it is still smoother in the outside lane.

I used to be on the Police rota for crashes in that area....

Seen plenty over the years...

I stopped at a crash last Sept.

a bike had hit bollards near the 130 junc.

There were loads of bikers looking in the ditch!

When I asked them "what's going on :?: "

They replied...........

"We are looking for his leg!!!

I got in my Breakdown and fcuked off!

Felt right embarssed...

Anyway, what I was going to say is that I'm breaking a couple of Transits

and, will be opening a Transit breakers on Charfleets next month...

Good discounts for forum members... :D

OK, I now have a pile of bits... from a MK3 and MK4 grille and Im now glueing it all together, all well and good...

...but I have tried to joint up with plastic filler and fibreglass and they wont stick!
Is there a special filler for this type of plastic?

Oh and the camera is on the go too

Not having a problem glueing it all together, plumbers solvent welds it together no problem...
I need a solvent based body filler that will stick to the plastic to fill in the joints ready for painting... I cant use plastic primer, its too thin.
Thanks for the offer thou Barry
