You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

i would love another van, but need to have a large cash injection before i can do that and need a house with a double drive as another van outside on the street will cause a parking war with the neigbours

have a go

Postby DJMIKE » Thu Aug 17, 2006 5:11 pm

i made this one in the 80's for my mk2. it held a set of top end speakers, a CB radio and some mod trendy ajustable lights. you just have to think about what you are doing, and what you want.

any more info , give me a shout.

hi, 100ps_drw_hicube.
well, i bought it in 1988? i think and it was a bit rough,to say the least. but i could see a shed load of protentiol in her, i did it up to my likeing, for camping and DJ use, and had it a good fue years, untill it died and had to be scraped due to it falling to bits (rotten).
i then bought a swb mk3 flat top, that was ok for a while untill i could better myself with the beauty i have now, back to a semmi hi. thanks for the interest..
