It really is a very cheap and poor imitation

(not saying that the flash manufacturer was trying to imitate Dynamat)It was never sold as anything other than roof flashing
It really needs two if not three layers to match Dynamat's thick foil backed bitumus pad and so that adds to your labour
Not to mention that your van will have to be driven with the windows open

for the first week or two
Also, not too sure if it would still be stuck to my ceiling, if it was up there
There are other brands out there that are cheaper than Dynamat
I would imagine that they would actually be far superior to Wicks roof flash for this task
