Unlikely as the bonnet doesn't go round the lights like the Mk5.

im gonna do my own for my van as i aint gonna get ripped off that way and i then know its been done well and not a bodge job

yes i could do one for a mark 6 but you would have to extend the bonnet down over the grill

my thinking is best to use a
cardboard cut of your headlight shape so
you can get your template right then get a clamp and clamp it to your bonnet then get a ruler and draw a line where you going to have it so it lines up end of the bonnet nere to your ind to the end of the head light next to your gril then put it on some sheet of
steel then cut out your shape then use a wire
brush on your grinder to get the paint of the bonnet
where you gona weld your template steel on then clamp your steel on and make it flush and weld it on then grind the welds down so its all flush then get some filler

but thats my plan


now looking at it its not much steel as i throught it would be so its just looks like its made the shape of the head light strighter but looks mint for just to say its about 20cm ish x 7cm ish of steel

hi mate, if you have a look at the mk6 head lights you will see that the top section about 25mm roughly has a slight angle, this angle then runs flush in with the top section of the grill. so i was wondering if you could make the bonnet just go over that angel over the headlights it wouldn’t even have to go over the grill.


its a bit like the mask the mk6 comes with like the wrt van just on the top of the head light though not all over. i will post a pic soon. cheers.

will get some new clean 1.5mm then only want a small bit so might go to this metal place nere me who has cut ofs for the skip

Couldn't you just bolt a plate on from the inside and then use fibreglass and filler to get it flush with the front?

you could do mate but i bet at some time or a other it will get nudged and then the fibreglass / filler will have a crack at the end of the plate joint i would just weld it then its done to be save side
