Try Mk1 golf gti trims from german and swedish! Maybe mk1 ashtray GTE wheel arches too! I had a go at flaring my audi 90 quattro arches. Dont do it!! The car cost £100, it went tits up, so I scrapped it!

Its all about offset!

Yep. The door just slides along the rubber of the tyre.
I reckon if the tyres were wider then I'd have trouble!

same as mine now on 15" suzuki rims and my transit 14" wellers were the same but on 195 tyres the door jammed - i'm pritty sure it's legal like that no need to flare the arches unless you want to :D

Yes, I believe you're right Luke.
The tyre is past the arch, but the tread is just within, so I think that makes it legal.
I want to do the arches for aesthetics,
cos at the moment it looks wrong with the wheels poking out.

Killjoy here
Before you go battering / flattening out the arches under 'curl' , check about sharp edges prodruding.
I don't think Ford (or any of the others) curl the panels under just to collect dirt, I believe the law has something to say on the matter. Hence the Minis (proper Minis) having the plastic edging round the wheelarches and protruding seams.
I got a little black book with me poems in
