Not sure what its off, something Captain Hook had laying around and yes, thats exactly what I would like to do Luke, but I dont know how to do it!!!! Advice welcome

it also looks better for not having the upright supports in :idea: but i dont know if that would be too much if it had to be extended you'd proberbly need them for extra strength :? :D

cut in half and then put 3 metal rods in then filber glass :idea:

got me thinking now

Thats on the same lines as I was thinking, but I will use febfoam to fill the gap and trim down with a knife and then glass-up....
