hard to tell from his pic but they look ok - nice price too :D

just bolt them over the transit studs to check the arch clearence before spending any cash on redrilling - they will bolt onto the transit studs to test it - just dont drive it like that :shock: :lol:

and to be certain about the chamfer take him a wheel nut down :idea: :idea:

i have been told by someone that its dangerose to drill the rims is this true as finding it hard around here to find someone to do it

any advice or engineers you no of that will please tell me

well i'm an engineer and i think they are safe :D - i'm doing another set soon for a mate of mine he's also an engineer and he thinks they are safe :lol:
obviously thats considering they are done correctly and each style of wheel is different :!: some people dont understand it so they are worried and just say its not safe :roll:

There's enough people driving round on re-drilled Wellers to suggest it's pretty safe.
I load my van up, drive hundreds of miles, and bump up kerbs.
They haven't cracked or broken.
My local engineer didn't blink at doing it.
Don't ask for an opinion, just tell them what you want doing and ask how much :lol:

could you give me the details for the engineer

what diameater hole and how deep do you go champher

so as i take it 160 pcd 60 degree champher just need the above confirmed

sorry to hi jack :wink: luke do u thunk its poss to weld up holes and redrill 4 6 stud? or cut the centre out and make a new boss for 6 stud? just dont fancy changing for 5 stud axle ect :wink: ure the 1 id trust for advice :wink:

The problem with 6 stud is that with the offset of the hubs you will end up with more of the wheel outside the arch than under it.
