To be honest, i think easy and cheap are the best options. So it's looking like 15's or 16's, plus i do like the look of the bigger wheels. Is there much difference in ride quality between sizes?

15's are the cheapest tyres and run best....

This is my opinion as I have 14's 15's and 16's so have tryed them all :wink:

would'nt say im tight mike but £350 for a pair of rear tyres for an old transit is a bit steep :wink:

I agree. Not sure i can justify spending more than half the valie of my van on the tyres alone!!!

Wide 14" tyres are really hard to find, in fact only two firms Ive found, actually have anything in stock, I sent a load of emails, some say they can get them, probably from the 2 firms, :roll: 15's or 16's will save you some grief and your wallet :lol: By the way Paul, Northhants will do you 265's for just over £300 at the moment :roll: :lol: 245's £250

The grip on my Coopers is very good and have a modern tread, but the weight rating isnt as good as the BFG's

Think I'm sold on the 16's. Are there any more pics anywhere? Will I need to flare the arches or make any mods to accomodate them?
