bonnet mounter intercooler

I found out the name of the thing i did to my car its call ram air system was used on muscle cars in the 60s and 70s
Second picture down shows it the one with the big engine

I used this on the intercooler and air fillter

and 2 hand fulls of ice cubes in the water res and a few cubes on the intercooler

the heat dissapears as soon as the airflow hits it cheap way of doing it is to plumb into the screen washer

or Co2 fire extinguisher!.... after all you want the baby safe!

If you dont want to spoil the looks have a look at a mk1 or 2 mondeo thet have the intercooler on top of the engine and the air is fed from the top of the rad grill through a hollow section in the bonnet under cover this seamed to work well on the mondeo and doesnt spoil the looks,
