I found out the name of the thing i did to my car its call ram air system was used on muscle cars in the 60s and 70s
Second picture down shows it the one with the big engine

I used this on the intercooler and air fillter

If you dont want to spoil the looks have a look at a mk1 or 2 mondeo thet have the intercooler on top of the engine and the air is fed from the top of the rad grill through a hollow section in the bonnet under cover this seamed to work well on the mondeo and doesnt spoil the looks,
MK7 2006, 2.4 tdci, 140ps + TUNIT box = 165ps jumbo rwd known as "Big Blue" to the kids.
