i looked at the superlite adaptors
No offence but i wouldnt use them they look like cast alloy and not that strong

As the spacers are holding on to your wheels and your life id be making sure their made from the highest quality alloy billets

i had mine done locally(cornwall) and they were very well made,i think that they could be altered slightly as with the wheels i have fitted stick out past the arch they have an et of 52 if i could find a set with a lower et they would be fine but set of modded flares will sort that out as the van is in the bodyshop currently

a lower et number would mean the wheels stick out more not less

the number represents distance from centre line to the hub face, my the dimension larger and wheel sinks inwards more

redrilling is a better option but its a bit tricky on the front of a mk4/5 due to shape of hub

i have had these made recently to fit the mondeo wheels 160x5 down to 108x5 which allows volvo and late jag wheels to be fitted all have different ets i believe

They should have offset the studs to make it stronger, rather then having them in line.

i'm sure they will :D but i agree with mike they would have been stronger that way :!:

i would just take the wheels off after a couple of months and check the adapters over - lay a engineers rule over them to see if there is any distortion and have a close look for cracking - just to be on the safe side, but i'm sure they'll be ok :D
