didn't we cover this before and thought you had a dodgy pump :?: i ran my 24v with the 12v pump ok - but in the end used the granada one due to space issues :D

if anyone is feeling a bit flush theres a shop on ebay selling brand new ford T5 gearboxes direct from the states for £1,100 quid, which aint bad for a 330ft-lb rated box.

unique MT75 transit box - fits without an adapterplate but it's the wrong bellhousing for a cologne :( and you cant swap the bellhousing over as the stick is in it :!:

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but... Luke, What is that diangonal bit going down to the left of the mount, behind the filter???
Also my filter bolts straight on, but Ive seen those extensions on ebay, what is the point of them?

the bit behind the filter goes to the plate for extra strength - it was on the origanal so i fitted it - i doubt its necessary as the plate gives the bellhousing a lot more strength but it may help cut down on vibrations etc. :D

and the extention bit was just so you can remove the filter easly in the granada - after that photo i removed it and fitted it like yours as it fouls the transit crossmember - so you'll be ok how yours is :D

I will try and remeber to take some pics of the Granada modded mounts.

Just zinc coated the alternator and PAS pump brackets, just waiting for a granada haynes manual to turn up... I know nothing about these engines  but Im willing to learn. Ive not touched the injection system yet!!!!   talk about pipework.
Just cleaning, refurbing and painting as Im taking stuff off. Struggling to get the viscouse fan off and its not much help without the manual, I think its the four nuts on the pulley, I'll give a go later in the week.

Ive tried to clean the plastic fan blades with all sorts of solvents, so it looks like plastic paint. Never seen it in yellow thou.

put some pics up of the modded granny mounts - i'd like to see them :D the factory ones have the engine offset to the o/s by a few inches to keep the drive train in line with the back axle - but plenty of people have fitted them central using sierra mounts ok :D

If you need pictures from another angle or a measurment or 2, Ill do it on wesnesday as Im off to france for a memorial in the morning.
I remember when this engine was taken out, there was a notch cut in the chassis mount slot about a third of the way down, about 5 - 7mm back towards the bulkhead, which must be the way they lined it up...

On the back of the fan there is a nut. You should use a very thin wrench to unbolt it. It is
lefthandthread! So look between the fancore and the pulley and You'll see the nut.
