OxtonyxO, dont forget to label every wire and if poss make a detailed plan of the wiring, Sh~# load of work i know but it will be very useful for people on the forum......namely me :D
I know you probably will anyway mate, but dont forget to SOLDER and heat shrink all your connections. I know a guy near me that took a smart car roadster engine and loom and put it in a ....wait for it......reliant kitten! The wiring on the roadster is complex to say the least With traction control/stability control/abs/air bags/leccy seats you get the idea  He stripped down the loom and made all his new connections with connector blocks and tape  I did try to tell him but he wouldn't listen and after finally wrapping up all the loom and putting it in place, he now has loads of electrical probs  . The first time you do the loom, make it the last time and do it right

before pulling the loom apart like that check for a 12 pin plug in the dash loom (above right hand side of glovebox) as the 2.8i granadas engine loom is a separate loom despite being taped together with the dash loom, if ford did the same in the 24v granny you will only have to deal with 12 wires and just transplant the engine + ecu loom intact

notice the welded on piece at the top as this was a pinto plate!!

after having done a bit of research about the gear box
i need to know if anyone can confirm that the svo mt75 v6 boxes are the same as standard ones?
i have been told that the standard box will work if you use the spacer from between the crank and the torque converter, how ever the person that did this did not fit a spigot bearing! but it worked and was reliable
on looking on other web sites the non transit mt75 had to have longer input shafts fitted and a clutch mod

hope you can understand all this!
and if anyone can confirm any of this that would be great
