What d'ya reckon to these? I seem only to need short nuts as with the small nuts from the steels there is very little thread over. I couldn't get the guy to give me dimensions but I like the way they have the seperate washer, and SS rather than plated.

They are standard Ford Alloy Wheel nuts.

Made of steel with a S/Steel cover.

They have a 60 degree taper to the washer...

Double check that your wheels are machined with a taper

or these nuts will not seat correctly.

oh I see, just like the locking nuts I have with covers.
Do you think these are better than the plated ones?
The wheels do have tapered holes, pretty sure it's 60 degree, the locking nuts fit nice and snug and have seperate washers, that's why I liked the thought of these wheel nuts.

Hey I got those wheel nuts. Was a bit worried if they would be long enough for the threads but of course there wasn't much thread sticking out so in the event they were ample, shortest nuts I saw infact and they come out a little from the wheels which looks fine.

They have a pressed on SS cover which isn't removable but a sticker on the packaging said "guarantee void if fitted with air tool" or something, so I think I will need to be careful with them.
I just wish I could get one more of these nuts for the locking key on left...

They were off a Capri 2.8i originally.

But these are LOADS nicer, and hey I learned something. Thinking now, I can see this mod would have needed doing if I had fitted wellers or whatever so I guess it was always on the cards.
Been getting on with a few other bits and pieces now so will update progress report soon

No they were 15inch 5 spokes not unlike yours but they would have fitted without all the messing about and had 4 near new tyres.
