Mk7 Steering wheel

Hi all, could someone plz let me know if the mk7 steering wheel will go straight on the Mk6 cheers Nick

no it will not tryed it myself the bolts are different and the shaft

no it doesnt, ive put mine on by making a boss out of the old one, then cutting the knob off the back off the mk7 one so its flat, then tapping it to the home made boss, finally using a longer bolt and bolt it back onto the column.
Havent had the balls to connect the new airbag up yet so i have a resistor in place to kep the light off
