ST24 Transit ?

hi guys,
just bought my 1st van its a P reg smiley :)
hopefully im getting a R reg mondeo st24
does anyone know if the engine will fit or be made to fit ?

i'm pritty sure it can be made to fit :mrgreen: just depends how good you are or more importantly how easly you give up :!: :lol:

I think the engine will be the easy bit, its all those electrics that have to go with it :shock:

ive broke a few st mondeos, kept all the engine with the intentions of using one in something but gave up after not being able to find a RWD gearbox that would mate to the engine

MT 75 will fit apparently. Look on Turbosport.co.uk, Restorations and Projects, thread title "Mk1 Monscort V6"
pictures on there. Whether it will fit a Transit I don't know but sounds interesting! Look forward to seeing progress.

yea that idea has gone out the window now :D just going to get remap on the diesel i think and slight mods like that :)

keep forgetting the reason i bought a van was to take a more chilled look at driving saving fuel helps too ;)

You can't remap a MK 5, it has no ecu :!:

the guy made his own adapter plateand modded the bellhousing, still a cheap project going by what he has done so far
