MK5 LWB Hi-cube air conditioning and cruise control

Hello everyone.

I've trawled the site for references to adding cruise control and air conditioning to a 1997 diesel turbo minibus, but would like to get some further input regarding the best economical installers before spending a lot of money.

As I carry passengers for a few weeks of the year - and hearing their complaints! - I intend installing a roof a/c unit in the rear of the van very soon. The unit I'm looking at ishere, but not all sellers do installations too.

Does anyone have any installer recommendations please? The van has front a/c, but I'm not currently using it because of a small leak.


Regarding cruise control, most of you recommend Conrad Anderson in Birmingham. I have a quote, but is there anyone else out there that you can recommend please?
