My MK6 Thorpy!

Hi everyone, im new to the forum

I have owned my van for 10 months now, was originally baby blue Transco van. But withing a few weeks i took a roller to it and it went matt black

Plans are this summer once it warms up im going to completely restore it, and respray it dark blue with sport rear end and chrome work etc....

Heres some pics at it stands excuse the front wings, haven't painted the new ones yet.

Wow, I've not seen that type of light you've got on your roof for a few years. I used to have a set of them fitted to my old Espace about 10 years ago!

Aha old school :p my misses dad had them from years ago for his spitfire that he never fitted, yellow fogs, with white driving lamp.

Buying me a new Mig welder saturday, currently have a gasless one, but dont really trust the results, not a nice looking weld :/

At work I use tig and stick, so Migs not my norm. But been watching loads of vids on how it improve my thin metal mig welding skills
