anyone know who selles em in the UK

i'm getting to the stage where i could do with something to connect the down pipes to, i was going to have a go at making a pair but the perferated sheet aint cheep so i think mabe i'd be better off buying a pair so im hunting round for prices

for those who dont know this is a sidepipe

I remember when sidepipes where all the rage, I used to love em. Not seen any for years in the custom mags... I think they are still pretty cool

if you search on ebay, it comes up with nothing but suggestions are made to other exhaust sites. (it did on my computer anyway )

Im making mine from 4" dia hotdog muffelers

2 on each side welded togeather with a 4" 90deg bend at one end and a 45deg dump on the other

other options is some truck stacks from a trucking shop or breaker

luke when i had the v8 i wanted a set but from custom chrome they were around £500 then so i didn bother!

Without buying from the USA I don't think you will get them off the shelf these days. Mind you with the exchange rate being so good the US is an option worth considering.

europa specialist spares do side pipes but they dont have pictures on the site for all of them.

thanks for the help so far , i'll have a look round the links later tonight!

the covers on ebay, i just think the holes are too big and although they'd look good it would bug me, also i dont think they are long enough, but interesting that i spent a couple of hours going through ebay and missed them

i dont mind spending a few quid if i get exactly what i want ive spent enough on the van and its not go many mods on the outside - as said its a good exchange rate at the moment and buying from the states would be an option - out of interest if i was to get some imported would anyone else be interested

ideally tho i'd like to get some made here in the UK

plenty of custom exhaust fellas about, i have a fella i know in the trade near me pipecraft, there all over the country and some arent mental with there prices and quality workmanship

I don't think any amount of heat shield will sort that lot out.

True, its untidy, the shields cover all the exhaust, I'll have to get a pic of them when I've fitted them.
