CCM Twin Headlights

Postby andykay » Tue Apr 10, 2007 3:01 pm

Just had a conversation with a very helpful guy, Kevin at CCM to find out why they had not answered my 5 or 6 e-mails :? turns out they never got them :?: So asked about the quad headlights and he informed me they were still doing the cheap ones for £115 but they had sealed beams and for £160 they are now doing standard lights with pilot holes for sidelights and holes that take what ever bulb you want to put in for the main beam :D
So if anyone wants any just give him a ring and he will sort you out 01480 861939 don't e-mail them as they are not getting through.

To be honest they are a fookin nightmare. You have to cut out the reverse of the unit itself for the wires to go through, not a problem if you have an 80mm hole saw  it would be easier for them to do it when they make them, then you have to cut out a circle from a fibreglass dish and bond it to the back of the headlight :x ever tried bonding fibreglass to glass :?: so you can drill it to take headlamp adjusters which you also have to source and buy seperate and you have to find some compression springs to fit said adjusters :D following so far 8) then you have to drill the mounting holes in the main unit to fit your existing headlamp brackets. All in all you may as well just buy some good angel eye units.

You can also get the quad lights from this company. Yes I know they aren't listed on his website but give him a call.

http://www.phoenix-autosport.co.uk/

These are made from the same mould as the CCM ones, as it is his brother-in-law. He's also undercutting him by £5 and selling them at £155.
