I'm getting the tailgate & the rear panel sorted out next, I have the front end booked in with paul2012 for next month. Also i need some welding done to the rear arches & sills. The rust has got a bit worse as it's been sat there nearly 6 months :(

If it's the bottom section your after then i couldn't find a copy one and ford is £280 ish. Luckily I got a genuine mk7 one of eBay but I won't upset you with what I paid

Same as the barn doors section, keeper in the same place anyway :D

Oh yeah I meant to say also, the wiring for the mk7 tailgate is on the opposite side of the mk6 tailgate, just thought I'd mention it as you were after one :D

For the top section I'd guess ford would be reasonable or go to the breakers and drill out the spot welds from a mk7

There is 2 parts lower & upper. Upper panel the door striker is secured to. Both panels are over £300 from Ford

Upper panel Ford Part no F4438867 retail price £179 exc VAT
Lower panel Ford Part no F4395788 retail price £101 exc VAT

Best option is to cut that section out from another mk6, which is what I'm planning to do

Well there is a 05 mk6 at the breakers just 2 mins away from me, they want £40 & they will cut it or gas it out for me. But they won't drill the spot welds.
Fords gave me 2 part no,s 1213694 £191.02 & 4438867 £179.55
Would like to mention that the mk6 at the breakers has traction control.
Paul many thanks for your reply. Looks like that i will be going to the breakers unless there are some copy panels out there. :D
