BMW 2.8 6cly in a Smilly Face?????????????

I was just wondering if anyone has ever put a bmw straight 6 lump into a
transit? I can get hold of a bmw 528i e39 96+ complete (apart from
heavy rear damage). Everything would be there, its fitted with a 5 speed
auto. My Transit's a 96 Td Auto but thought it would be different to fit
this engine. Im not loaded so most of this will be done at home as i've
got limted knowlege. If anyone has done this kind of convertion let us
know what kind of work would be involved. Its a long engine so i know
the bulk head would need to be cut out. The only other option would be
to get an old 2.9i complete and swap everything over Still the bmw
idea would be good. 200bhp standard and very smooth. Hope you
can help

If your gonna do it get a 3.2 M3 engine with 321 BHP If your gonna do a job then do it right!
I would imagine a 2.9 V6 would be easier to fit coming from a scorpio the ford runnning gear should match.
Don't they still stick a V6 in ambulances anymore?
