I have a boost gauge on my mk6 2.4 rwd and it boosts to about .8 psi, vantunner said I could up the boost to 1 bar, 12-14 psi but I haven't ever done it, probably best to check with him first.

When you fitted your boost gauge did you t it in to the vacuum pipe on the actuator I was looking a fitting one to my van but not sure how to fit it many thanks. N

Hi yeah I T'ed into the vacuum pipe but it would be much better to T into the inlet manifold as the you get true boost pressure, was gonna do this but you need a tapered tap to fit a vacuum fitting, my gauge reads around 0.8 psi on full throttle.

.8 bar is about right for a stock 90 2.4.. a gauge should not be fitted to the wastegate actuator feed pipe, (although that is where you would fit a boost controller on a tddi ) it'll not read any losses in the inlet tract if you do attach a gauge there. attach it as near to the head as poss so in inlet manifold itself ideally :)

As a rule of thumb, raising by 200mbar ish on TDDI Transit is safe & effective be it a 75 2.0l or anything up to a 125 2.4l
