Hi all,

I'm hoping to purchase a mk6 van in the next few weeks to be used solely as a family fun vehicle. I'm looking for ideas as to the best way to kit her out, items that I'm wanting to include are as follows:

Up front
Aside from a half decent head unit and some sporty seats I'm not really sure yet, looking for ideas - maybe an over-head console?

In the back
Wood lined with carpet
Rear seats (already got these)
Good quality Sound system to include two 10 or 12" subwoofers
A PC linked to the sound system
A PS2 with all wireless controls (don't want any messy cables anywhere)
17" or 19" TFT monitor

I'm also open to suggestions of other items to include.

Other things I'd like to add in the future will be tinted side windows for the rear passengers (was considering a minibus but the insurance will probably be much higher) an A-bar and alloys.

This is a PS/2, Digital TV receiver and desktop PC in a homemade wood enclosure.

Behind the monitor is a 100w 2 channel audio amplifier and source switch to allow audio from any device to be played through the speakers.

All can be run off an inverter or you could get 12v versions of them.

There are also CarPC's based on Mini-ITX system boards that are the same size as a car radio - http://www.cartft.com/
