Front Mats

Postby docksey007 » Mon Sep 23, 2019 7:38 pm

Hi all,

New to forum having just purchased an ex AA Mk7

I am converting into camper but firstly want to get the front cabin right. I plan to wrap the dash along with a few other bits. Will load images once completed

I have been on ebay and seen these. Like the idea of deep pile version as they will add a nicer touch. Has anyone had these? Or similar to advise quality, fit etc?

Much love
Joe

At first glance those appear to be really good. I think I might prefer rubber ones as they are easy to clean in case of spills, but I get the appeal of carpet ones... Carpet ones will probably make it feel a bit more homely/classy not sure. TBH I'm not sure whether I prefer the carpet or the rubber... I think rubber is better due to it having better antibacterial properties than carpet...

These are only 3mm thick, if they made 6mm or 9mm tailored rubber that would have been awesome...
