Has anyone removed the large ford badge from the gray front bumper plastic bit on aMK7, if so can you explain how and put up pics of how it was done?

It's held on from the rear with 2 ring clip things, then it can be prized of, there's a bit of double sided tape stuff on it.

once it comes of is it then easy to make it look like it has never had one by cutting the plastic bars that are left?

I have seen it done a few times, I recall someone cut the section with the oval bit out and grafted in a straight piece from another bumper centre
