Pinto exhaust manifold

Hi all,

Can anyone advise on the following please. I have a 1988 smiley 2.0 pinto. I want to fit a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold (to couple with my rebuilt, slightly upgraded engine). I have heard a Capri manifold will fit, with a slight mod to avoid gearbox X member). Can anyone validate that?
