mk5 dash into mk4

i ve like the mondeo clocks and think v6 petrol set will do the job but to help i want to fit the smiley dash to do the job properly from memory having done a couple of shell changes the dash will be a straight swop unless some one knows otherwise :D go ahead make my day....

A lot of people seem say it can't be done properly, but then again, they have never done it.
This thread seems to suggest it can be done with some slight bulkhead mods / holes for the heater.

I've just bought a '96 Turbo as a donor for my Mk3, and am going to do the dash swap too so I'll let you know how it gets on!

Having the full van in full working order should help a lot as I can swap the entire loom etc. if needed.

You need to cut out the bulkhead and fit the Mk5 heater.

Change the gearstick to Mk5 one to clear new heater..

Fit the Mk5 loom to save loads of joins etc.

About a days work if you have a welder etc. :)
