Bitchin SWB... tubbed, 9in, 3.8ltr v6... airbags comin...

hey guys, m currently doing a nine inch conversion for a customer and while i've got it at the shop i'm tubbing it for him, taking the wheel arches right back to the chassis rail(just cut them out yesterday actually) Just a question... any one got any suggestions for wheels, we'll have a shitload of choices because i'm, also raising the height of the arch cause we're gonna airbag it next... p.s. im in AUS and we have nothing for transits except custom made oneoffs.
don't listen to what everyone else says son, transits are cool.

If your doing a rear end swap DONT run the transit PCD, theres no of the shelf wheels around for them
better off changing to 114.3 and putting some decent brakes on the front

P.s theres nothing for transits anywhere its all a custom job
Yeah i know its big green and rusty so move your Porsche before i bash it with 460 cubes of fords finest cast iron

i'm leaving the rear end as f100 stud pattern, do u guys have any big brake setups over there? (for the front). was thinking of changing the front stud pattern to a more common falcon(our large family car) style as rims tyres and pretty much anything else are readily available. any info on aftermarket parts suppliers for transits would be awesome if there are any, if not guess i better start making my own stuff!!! p.s. m also afta clear taillights and indicators, anyone know any suppliers of them? :?:

i'm converting a set of mk5 hubs at the moment to run 112 x 5 pcd

im writing a how too on it here  http://fordtransit.org/converting-ford- ... s-you-want

which i'll finish when i finish the job, but it shows the start of it

they are a little more complecated than the mk1/2 - which is just a strait forward redrill :D

as far as brake upgrades the transit's pritty good from the off so the 278x24 disk is an easy option other than that its custom stuff :|

What a waste of time. You're going to put a heavy 9" rear end in a Transit, tub it, and have it powered by a Commodore V6?
Get your hand off your dick.

Its like teaching a pig to sing: It wastes your time, and annoys the pig.
