This vortex princable it used on industrial chinmeys, aircraft, ballistics and more, but how would this work on the valves of an engine... the smooth flow would be churned up just by the valves, let alone it travelling down to engine.

Its obsured what people will come up with to make money from those who arnt tech minded.
I noticed the lack of a verification procedure in their reports such say a commercial based magazine etc.

I recently carried out an induction mod recently and that was to replace the OEM filter with a K&N, it has made a difference but I only did cos I couldnt get a norml filter here, only to learn a few days later that the Aussie Ford Territory sold here has the same filter
But the K&N does work well.

I like yourselves have no faith in Hyclones, if anything you are placing a restriction in the air intake and reducing sair flow, having said that I am a meber of a 4x4 forum where a few mwmbers have tested them, and one in particular has tested fot power and emmision changes with and without then, and recons they do actualy work, (i would cut and paste his esluts in here but it seems a bt rue as he prepared them for another forum and i havent asked his permission) so maybe some improvment on some vehicles, but i wont be rushing out to buy any!

in not totally dismissive of these things, in motocross bikes air splitters which fit into the carbs are very popular and they do work and improve the fuelling, also airflow isnt simply dependeant on CSA. turbulence and velocity are often more important, ive read reports where engines have made more power from having the inlet tracts narrowed with weld or epoxy, rather than opened out with porting tools.....

I brought but just improved from 3000 to 4000 rpm range power. Not much benefit from 2000 to 3000 rpm! Any comment from other user?
