Best thing to do with Alloy wheels is polish and laquer them.

You strip all the paint off and polish them so they are actually polished alloys rather than chromed.

i am not sure if its legal to do in the eu looks rather expensive but pretty though 8) http://www.calchrome.com/process.php they look quite cool in copper plate but you would end up with green rims in day or 2

Why wouldnt chrome plating be legal in the UK!!! Proper, old school cooper base and polish, the way it should be done :D £££££ :(

I meant to get a quote to get my rims aerocoated, but never did, but looks like the prices have gone up since I last looked :(

Ah! I see, I didnt know it was a different process to steel and plastics. Mind you, both of these are still nasty processes...

those finishes are pretty amazing,,,, well worth having that done,,,, they would last for ages with a proper powdercoat finish,,,, but its still isnt chromed though,,,, it is a chrome effect,,,, so no need to worry about how long the bright finish would last as it shouldnt fade like 'real' chroming would. These finishes are what i would choose over 'real' chroming anyday,, as it would almost eliminate any peeling.
