BTW - i think sp***ters are 130mm PCD - not sure tho!

Why not have a centreboss welded to the hub? after you decide which discs you are fitting.

You could be right about the sp***ters, but I'm sure the vito's run the car pcd seeing as so many of them are on alloys

got an old axle thats been in the yard for years thought i'd use that one think its off a mk2 :?
but after 20mins i couldnt get the drums off!! try again later i think!!

welding a centre boss on is probly the best idea!! i could make a ring and weld it on from the inside!! - any ideas on how to hold it perfectly central?? unless i make it oversize and turn it down when redrilling the halfshafts!!! :?

Wheel PCD's.
What sort of master cylinder was you thinking of using?
I have a program somewhere to calculate the master cylinder bores from caliper piston sizes and you'll need a limiting valve for the rears as well :)
Current fleet
Mk7 transit ambulance
Mk1 tourneo connect
Mk1 Mondeo 1.8 STD
Mk5 fiesta 1.25
Fusion 1.4TDCi

XR4x4's use a 254x10mm disc, use the calipers off the sierra and suitable brackets! :)
Hope this works cos ive just ordered a pair of vito disks!!! :D
what? measure first!! :? nah!! i have every confidence they will fit!!

:) A man after my own train of thoughts!! :)

Can't see why it shouldn't work, I'm just checking now to see if I can do the same to mine, except using jaguar discs.

I need discs off a XJ40 4.0 litre, plus XR4x4 calipers! :)

i take it your wheels are jag pcd then ? there 120mm arnt they?? so if the merc ones manage to fit then jag should too!! :?
how are you thinking of doing your caliper brackets? picking up off the backplate bolts? or welding a bracket to the axle casing?

Yup, my wheels are jag pcd :) which 120.65mm :P BMW's are are 120mm, and they fit jags aswell :D

Haven't look in to the bracket just yet, welding seems most likely, or could be both!

Just been told by a mate, that he once heard a rumour, that jag front hubs fit the the transit stub axle! If this is the case, my fronts will be easy to make! :D

Just need to fit a jag in the scrapper now

Seeing as he has only really ever had MK1/2's I would say he meant them.

I'm going to fit them to the beam axle for now, I found out ages ago that MK2 hubs fit MK3's except the hub flange catches the caliper, theres a difference in height, by half inch! :?

When I put the 2 hubs side-by-side the Mk2 one was a half inch lower than the Mk3, even the disc was. :?

Get I need to get a pic really! :)
