right to do this you will need :!:

heres the list
a sheet of cardboard.

some scissors.
felt tip black might be best .
angle grinder.
welding clamps.
welder.
cuting disk.
grinding down disk.
a wire grinding disk.
some body filler.
some 1.5mm steel

right 1st of you get your sheet of card like in the pic
Image

then cut it in half
Image

then on your bonnet mark some lines ie on my bonnet i used the two big lines.
Image

then put your carboard under the bonnet
Image

then get your pen and draw around your bonnet shape
Image

then pull your carboard out of your bonnet and you should have something looking like this :!:
Image
now we geting some where :D
now after you cut your template out like this
Image

get some steel ie 1.5mm or 1.mm iam only useing as iam waiting for my steel :!: and put your carboard template on to your steel
Image

and draw around it
Image

now get your angle grinder with a cutting disk on or use a jigsaw your choice after cuting it out should look like this
Image
then just grind some of the sharp edges like i have to make it flush :D
Image
then when you donw that put it next to your bonnet and clamp it to you bonnet and see if it fits ok
Image

thats as far as i got so far but will up date

it would of been clean the paint of the bonnet where you gona weld your plate on then grind down the welds and then a skim of body filler then sand down then primer it then when you done that on both sides respray your bonnet :)

but yes i will up date some more :!: bare with me

int, proper fill pieces should go right round over the indicators slightly as well and curve with the bonnet right to the corner

AND along the long straight edce that is very sharp and the bit your likly to hit your head on put it in a vice and fold it back on itself so its got a nice rounded edge
