Postby brightfish » Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:30 pm

Hi Guys,
Does anybody know where I can get hold of the plastic (external) louvred window covers like in the picture below?

Cheers

There is a post on here somewhere with links to a couple of sites that sold them.

Can't seem to find the post with the links :( any other suggestions on how to blank out the two side windows? I'm considering window tint film but I'm not sure if it will do a good enough job.

I painted mine... just black spray paint, but it comes off so make sure you get a paint suitable for glass.

I have the sides cut out of another van that I am going to weld in

I might do that this week.

Believe it or not its actually very hard to find someone who will let you cut the side out of their scrapper for a sensible price!

I managed to get mine cut out for me for £20 and 2 scrap MT75 Boxes, but some people wanted £75+ for me to cut them out!
