2.0 DOHC LOOKING FOR MORE POWER

HI GUYS
I HAVE A 2.0 DOHC P REG TRANSIT I THINK ITS 115PS ENGINE .
COULD ANYONE ADVISE ME HOW I CAN GET MORE POWER FROM THIS ENGINE .
CAN I REMOVE ANY OF THE EMISSION PARTS ON THE ENGINE .

im thinkin of trying them out a bit later in the year (gotta watch pennies for a bit due to the economic sh*t this country is in )

Without being negative, they're sh%t... good gains with turbo'ed cars & vans but rubbish on N/A stuff, put yer money in summat else! I'd forget tuning the DOHC! thank you for your imput it was very helpful .
I ndid think about cam replacement but was told i would need uprated springs and followers , also the cams where about £500 . thought this was a bit over the top .

i have been told on here that a 16v head will fit & gain about 20 or 25 bhp..worth investigating....i didnt cause the 8v manifold dont fit apparently and i wanna keep my lpg setup but will look into it later

put in a 2.3 16v from a galaxy/granada/scorpio/mk6 transit, 150hp standard and then get it chipped, lpg should just fit, if its like the lpg i have it just fits the injectors and they should be the same, so straight farward swap.

a 2.3 16v engine should only cost £100 or so.

its taller than the 8v apperently so you would have to modify exhaust downpipe

the difference would be small, ford arn't known for change so i would guess the mk6 down pipe would do the job if longer is needed.

they are to wide, i've already measured to fit one in a mk6, it is that wide it would need a smaller brake servo and major bulk head cutting, they are 30 inches wide, a 302 would be easier as its only 19 inches wide ( widths from ford racing cataloge ), i wanted to fit a supercharged lightning 5.4 version of that engine, but to wide.
