when i fitted mine, i had to take the glass cover off, fill the tank full, then take the arrow off and reposition it till i rose to full. trial and error, go to far and it will only read 3/4, you have to get it just right that it doesnt stop at full even though it wants to go more. if you know what i mean?

i still get the same amount of miles to the tank so its near enought for me.

i know this isnt the right way to do it but it suits me. the only problem i have, is it has different circuits on the back so the orange light doesnt shine up when im running low.
I don't switch my lights on... I turn the dark OFF!

Yes I think the fuel guage changed throughout the years.

You need to fit the earlier sender unit, or live with it

No Idea

You will have to go to frauds :(

Will be whats fitted to mine though - N569 FLE

Or you could get one out of the scrappers? I think it probably changed at the same time as the speedo drive (cable/electronic) you want one from a van with a speedo cable.
