It actually looks a lot brighter than it is in a photo!! It's a perfect match to the colour of the van itself but it photographs differently, you get a better idea of the colour from the pic of the door/deadlock/leds with the glovebox in the background. I used matt laquer to dull it down and avoid glare from the sun which works well.

The Steering wheel boss kit is for a capri mk2, I just had to file the key down to fit it. Then there's a quick release/snap off connection, then the wheel.!!

Cheers

Some do have a clock there, unfortunately it's not a clip in cover it's a moulded part of the dash. I was going to fill it and smooth it before I painted but decided to get another phone holder instead!! lol

Malc I must admit it looks tons better than I thought it would.I like the pimp my ride red roof lining with the cool LEDs... top bling bud !! where did u get the roof linning materal from? As for the paint was it normal acrylic and rubbed down the dash to get a good 'key' for the paint

Cheers!!

It does look much better in person than on pics, everyone is amazed when they see it!! The roof lining is just brushed cotton from a local supplier (£1.75/m) Which is stuck over the origonal lining with spray adhesive. It wrinkled a bit as I was trying to fit it back in on my own and it's like a big uncontrollable floppy hat so it bent and creased, I may do it again.

The dash and trims were cleaned with specialist plastics cleaner to remove the silicone (not just normal panel wipe) this was by far the biggest pain in the arse as the dirt just kept coming off. then rubbed over with red scotchbrite pads for a key, then cleaned again. Then adhesion promoter base coat x2, top coat (mixed by a paint shop, not acrylic)x2 and matt laquer x3!! The blue covers very well wheras the red was a pain in the ass.

I'll post a few more pics when it's finished off, i've just been fitting LCD screens/dvd player today. Next thing is to finish boarding the back, cover it in the same material, fit the acrylic speaker box in the roof and change the seats then................

Cheers

Here's some updated pics, i've made new coverings for the seats out of red and blue leather, added some more of the sound system with a sub box in the middle of the van and one at the back, all the amps are in the back also but i've forgotten to take pics of them!!

Also 240v and extra cigarette sockets added in the back.

Just a normal van, the only thing i've done to the outside is cladded the rear bumper in checker plater, I would like to kit it up and put alloys on it etc etc but it'd only get wrecked!! Kids round here have a tendacy to scratch or paint anything new. They probably do it to the van now, but I don't notice because it's a bit tatty anyway :-)
