MK6 WRAPAROUND NUDGE BARS
Anyone have or know where I could get a wraparound style nudge bar for my MK6 Transit.
Does anyone also know the exact law on bull/nudge bars fitted to commercial vehicles?

Any van registered before June 2007 can get nudge bars and anything after that is illegal. Thats what I was told when I tried to buy a a-bar for the mk7. My mate also got a telling off by the local cops for having an a-bar on his maxus :roll:

its allso to do with the air-bag as some shops asked me if i had got airbag, and would not sell me one, so next time on the phone too the shop i said no..??

Thanks for that guys.

So if we drove a kermit green Nova with no baffles on our exhaust or an X5 with blacked out windows we're OK but fit a commercial bar for a winch and a few spots then we're in for bother... why can't they just let the working man get on and earn a livin'!!

As mines an 03 I'll be OK on that score and will just plead innocence if stopped. So hopefully someone out there still has a set available!

There's a mk6 for sale in Buckhaven (Fife), it has a wraparound bar on it. Next time I see it ill ask the bloke if he'll sell the bar separately :wink:
